Baron von Brunk is the kind of guy you'd love to hate, and hate to love. Hailing from the city of Lancaster, PA in the early 80's, he's regarded as the only pop-icon from his small town full of Amish people. When he's not busy unintentionally offending people, he works as a freelance cartoon animator, website designer and night-time freight handler for Home Depot.

Brunk is usually a calm sort of person on the Kboard, but he tends to rant and rave in a manner that makes him seem like a real dickhead. An expert in satire and the dreaded reverse-reverse psychology, he remains a formidable contender, to the most cunning linguists and master debaters alike.

When the Koopas started a full scale attack against the Mushroom Kingdom, things were looking meager when the Mario brothers and the Mushroom people couldn't handle the problem alone. To cure the heavy onslaught, they recruited a man known as Julius, from the real world. He was the chosen hero of planet earth due to his countless victories in NES games, and his record high scores in Super Mario Brothers 3.

Upon entering the battlefield in Grassland, The Baron [armed with antique spiked helmet and prototype jetpack] swiftly engaged the core of a Koopa Doomship, activated the self-destruct controls, and defeated the ship's head officer Captain Koryo, thus halting King Bowser's Blitzkrieg. Bowser's forces eventually scattered throughout the entire land, reaching the Desert Hills to the Pipe Maze. Shortly thereafter, Brunk, the Mario & Toad Brothers, and Gen. Argon [Mushroom Army corps commander] chased the aggressors away, with their own aquired skill and integrity. The Baron's legacy of war heroism was chronolized by a growing cartoon series known as "Julius Saves The Mushroom Kingdom".

Daring, clever, audacious, and jingoistic... The Baron is terrible threat to his reptilian foes, but a kind and caring hero to those oppressed in the Mushroom Kingdom. His veins bleed with ice water on the battlefield, but to the innocent Mushroom people, he fights for peace and justice. His trademark scars, bird-like profile, and Abe Lincoln beard only add to his intimidating appearance.
