It's finally here... Baron von Brunk's personal custom-built mobile suit Gundam! I call it Gundam PA02, or "The Pennsylvania Zero-Two", a heavy duty mechanized monster. Standing at a whopping 18'' tall, this brick brute is far greater in size than Swedish Fjord Gundam.

PA02 was worked on over a course of a month and a half, with several hours total of construction. A lot of his parts consist of a particular ExoForce set known as River Dragon, whilst others are assorted combined gray colors (both classic gray and bluish) and red pieces.

Now here's the best part: The primary weapon is a shoulder mounted Gatling gun, which actually rotates its barrels by turning the bullet carousel! Thanks to LEGO Technic parts, PA02's gun is our wildest Wolfenstein 3D fantasy come true! Of course, the minifig pilot is yours truly (as seen in the pictures).

In addition to the powerful vulcan near his neck, PA02 is armed with a long range beam rifle.

Look closely at its hands: The individual fingers are posable, and can grip things! This is all courtesy of the ExoForce robot arm pieces. Many of my previous mechs had pseudo-hands which merely clipped on to items, as opposed to PA02's realistic grabbing ability. Also like Fjord Gundam, this mobile suit can move its arms, elbows, knees, shoulders, feet and neck in a fluid-like motion.

The lower section and the upper torso were built separately, then combined together eventually. In its initial test, PA02 was too heavy and kept toppling over. This was fixed when I modified his hips and re-positioned the angle of his upper leg joints, to avoid falling. However, it still has stability issues, which I may resolve and fix in the future. As for now, it can stand pretty decent and still pose its body parts at the same time.
